We will be at:

Thursday, November 3rd 9:00am - 4:00pm
| Explore all the directions you can take your work with resins. We will
be making and using molded pieces to replicate vintage hardware in a
lightweight and inexpensive way. Learn to incorporate resin with
metals to give your work substance. The goal is to learn ways to
incorporate modern resins into “your look”. Each student will make a
finished project and will get hands on experience with several resin
techniques. |

**Forging a Wire Cuff**
| Learn techniques to forge heavy sheet metal and wire to make a dramatic
wire cuff. Students will learn to texture, anneal, drill, forge and
patina bronze. Great for wireworkers who want to add more metal
techniques to their work. If time permits we will also create pendant
pieces and chain. |
******* Saturday, November 5th 9:00am - 4:00pm**Forging in the Bronze Age**
| Make a statement necklace from heavy gauge bronze wire. Students will
be forging heavy wire into shapes and riveting them together.
Techniques that will be learned are riveting, filing, forging,
polishing, patinas.

*******Sunday, November 6th 9:00am - 4:00pm**Quick Tricks to Create Pendants in Metal**
| This is a great class if you are new to metal working or want to know
more about how to make components to go with your wirework or beading.
Students will learn easy tricks for riveting, adding height, texturing
and aging metal to create charms or components to complement their own
designs.
Students should go home with several charms to add to their work.
